As a web developer and virtual assistant, Susan started well before anyone else I know in this online virtual world
When I met Susan, she was developing her Virtual E-school. That was over 3 years ago. Little did I know how much experience she had in this arena. She was list building before anyone else I know.
When she's not out cruising around Maine on her motorcycle, she's working on projects for clients and helping her husband run his wrecker service. Today she is sharing tips with us from over 3 decades of being in business for herself.
Tips from Susan to Be a Better Virtual Assistant
1) Do YOU.
Stay true to YOU and YOUR purpose, no one else’s. Don’t copy others. Their path is different and is theirs. Duplicating theirs won’t work for you. It is easy to let others influence your path, but always remember - it is YOURS to travel.
2) Stop buying SHINY OBJECTS!
Don't buy into the "gurus" mindset, which leads people to believe that if they...

From paramedic to healthcare entrepreneur, Jennifer Carlquist is improving lives
When Jen showed up in my group with her cardiology course to promote, I was impressed! She had found a corner of the market that was untapped in healthcare by solving a problem that she has seen throughout her career that started in the back of an ambulance.
Today as a physician assistant, she is teaching paramedics and others in her field how to read EKG's by offering an artistic point of view of how the heart works. Now she's reaching more people by teaching through a digital course, and she came to me for help in promoting it with Facebook ads.
Jennie popped up in my membership one day just out of the blue. She was a referral from an existing client (Thanks, Tamsen!) who had been singing my praises about the way I teach Facebook ads. It took a little while before we personally connected, but I am so glad we did!
What I noticed about Jennie is that she has this incredible personality, presence, and articulation that draws people in. Talk about a video star! I've been digging into her life lessons over on YouTube to see what content to bring to my audience, and I think we've found just the piece for you.
Take it away, Coach Jennie, my favorite Inner Critic Expert.

Introducing David Jacobson, Financial Coach and Accountability Mentor
When I first met David Jacobson, he came to me through a referral. (Thanks, Tamsen ) He had two amazing sites on Kajabi. One he was using to coach other financial coaches to have successful businesses, called Coach-Connections. The other is a perk for his CC members to be a client-facing network of financial coaches that clients can choose from to help with their unique situations. This is called Accountable.
This is niche coaching at its best! Everyone can offer financial coaching, but only the coaches with specific life experiences can identify with the clients of the same vein. It's a beautiful mixture of holding each other accountable.
Dave's had his coaching membership for over 10 years, but it wasn't until he started using Kajabi that he was able to see his ultimate visions come to life.
How to Use Kajabi for List Building and a Membership Site
According to Facebook, our online friendship began in February of 2016. I can't exactly remember what prompted our connection, but Bec Robbie, a native Australian, was living in Thailand at the time running an e-commerce business with her husband, and I was getting ready to launch my digital marketing academy for service-based entrepreneurs. I was very curious about her life.
We were in different areas of online business, so working together wasn't really in the cards at the time, but I was fascinated that she was living abroad completely independent of having a regular job where you go to an office every day.
I was still working as an actuary (fancy word for insurance statistician), but I was banking on my May 2016 launch to be the catalyst for leaving my 25 year career (and that's exactly what happened).
Fast forward to 2019. Bec has since divulged of her e-commerce venture and is now teaching online business owners to...
I’m not even sure how it happened, but I think Christie reached out to me via Facebook Messenger after seeing one of my posts or comments in the Kajabi support group.
Whatever I said must have resonated with her because she was ready to buy my program at hello!

So without further ado, let's explore these 7 truths.
