For the past month, I've been sharing near-daily updates on my new Alexa Flash Briefing show on Amazon. This is a great way to connect with new audiences through a completely different channel than what we normally think about for marketing.
I am using this to share marketing tips and tricks and stories of my fans and clients. Because it's only been out for a month, my subscribers are still fairly low, but I expect them to build up over time. The nice thing about the software I'm using to automatically feed the audio clips to Amazon allows me to repeat episodes when I notice they haven't been listened to as much as some of my other ones. I'm also able to embed them right here onto this blog post, so that you can hear the ones you've missed.
If you'd like to subscribe to these types of programs, log into your Amazon.com account, click on the search bar's dropdown box, select Alexa Skills, type a topic in the search bar, and look for channels you'd like to subscribe to. Notice that mine is called Social Media Traffic School. Be sure to click Enable Skill on the right side. This image says Disable Skill, but that's because I'm already subscribed to my own Alexa channel.
Use your Alexa device or the Alexa app on your smartphone, and say, "Alexa, Flash Briefings." The channels you subscribe to will be played for you.
I am using a combination of software programs to create my daily briefings. Anchor.fm is where I've been making my recordings, and SoundUpNow automatically feeds your recordings to Amazon for you. Essentially, I'm getting exposure on Anchor, SoundUpNow, and Amazon this way.
In the following paragraphs, you'll find episode titles and embedded sound bytes from SoundUpNow, so you can hear the episodes that have expired from my Amazon feed.
