Introducing David Jacobson, Financial Coach and Accountability Mentor

When I first met David Jacobson, he came to me through a referral. (Thanks, Tamsen ) He had two amazing sites on Kajabi. One he was using to coach other financial coaches to have successful businesses, called Coach-Connections. The other is a perk for his CC members to be a client-facing network of financial coaches that clients can choose from to help with their unique situations. This is called Accountable.

This is niche coaching at its best! Everyone can offer financial coaching, but only the coaches with specific life experiences can identify with the clients of the same vein. It's a beautiful mixture of holding each other accountable.

According to Facebook, our online friendship began in February of 2016. I can't exactly remember what prompted our connection, but Bec Robbie, a native Australian, was living in Thailand at the time running an e-commerce business with her husband, and I was getting ready to launch my digital marketing academy for service-based entrepreneurs. The closet situation was more about my daughters, so when I dumped their entire closets out on the floor in their room to sort through and put back on the most needed items, we had quite the mess to muddle through.

Elevate Your Business By Attending Live Events

I traveled farther than anyone else to attend Elevate Live, a live event put on by women for women (there was one man) in the coaching space. Nearly everyone was British, so this Tennessee girl's accent stuck out like a sore thumb.

Gemma Went, the woman behind this event, is a leading UK business and mindset coach. This was her first attempt, and she knocked it out of the park.

Meeting People in Person Solidifies Relationships

My purpose in going to Sutton Coldfield, a tiny town outside Birmingham, England, was to meet with like-minded women in business who I could learn from and hopefully they could learn from me as well. It didn't hurt that the New Hall Hotel & Spa was an amazing setting for such an event.

With about 60 women in attendance, I was able to meet over a dozen of them and have deeper discussions with 4 or 5 of them. Sure, I could have tried to target these ladies in groups or online somehow with my content, but there's nothing like meeting in person...
